Hometown STEM Day

For students at Hometown School, STEM Day was all about problem-solving! Students built race cars using balloons, used Legos, and attempted to build a structure that could withstand an earthquake.

“By dedicating an entire day for students to practice these skills, they got a glimpse into what is needed to experience success both in school and in life,” said Mrs. Rosalind Reyes, Oak Lawn-Hometown District 123’s STEM Curriculum Facilitator.
