Go Gray in May Day at Kolmar

Yesterday District 123 was decked out in gray for “Go Gray in May Day” to raise awareness and show support for pediatric cancer research. Students donned their gray gear and Abby’s Parents, Kevin and Kristyn Wujcik, visited every school to take pictures and thank the students for their support of the Live Like Abby Foundation.

“It’s really overwhelming, especially here at Kolmar, the support we have from the faculty, staff, and students and families here ever since Abby was diagnosed is so overwhelming and really shows what an impact Abby had,” said Kevin Wujcik, Abby’s Dad.

The Live Like Abby Foundation was started in honor of 8-year-old Abby Wujcik who lost her battle with cancer in 2013. Money raised by the students will go toward the foundation’s efforts to find a cure for Pediatric Cancer.
